Getting in Touch with Russian Culture

This project was initiated in 2010 by Dr. Diana Nemec-Ignasheva, Ph.D., and supported by two faculty members, N.V. Zhilenko and E.A. Pankratova. The main goal of the project is to help American students who study the Russian language to get more closely acquainted with Russians and to appreciate the beauty of Russian culture and traditions.

This project provides an excellent chance for all the students to interact freely and to discover what they have in common in addition to their love for Russian language and culture. Typical project activities include an Institute presentation, a tour of Murom, and informal communication in various settings.
