10-13 May 2017 - Rebecca Ruhl (Washington, USA)

On May 10-13, 2017 the teaching staff and students of MI VSU received Rebecca Ruhl, a Fulbright scholatship student of 2013, and now a Master of Arts of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C., USA.

She worked in our higher school as an assistant teacher of English for the school year 2013-2014, and came to Murom on a short visit to see her colleagues and students again.

The programme included meetings with the students majoring in English, with graduates and postgraduates and with English teachers.

Rebecca conducted a seminar for the Teaching staff of Foreign languages department.

The presence of the English-speaker helped the students to create a special atmosphere and to improve their communication skills and to deepen their knowledge of American culture.

Rebecca Ruhl visited the dormitory and met with Lauren West, who is working on the same programme at our Institute this school year.

There were also informal meetings with students, walks about the town, visiting cafes and heart-to-heart talks.

We hope to see Rebecca Ruhl in future because, all people to came to our school once, try to visit it again.
